Mostly Boos For Jackson In Return To Philly

By Mike Dougherty

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Former Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson made his return to Lincoln Financial Field Sunday as a member of the Washington Redskins and the fans greeted him with a chorus of boos.

It didn't take long for the boo birds to come out with Jackson catching a pass on the 2nd play of the game.  Boos were even louder when he got into a scuffle with Eagles defenders a few plays later.

Fans really let him have it after he scored an 81-yard touchdown in the 3rd quarter. Those who spoke with KYW Newsradio were all in agreement about his departure:

"He's a diva. I don't think it's a big loss."

"He's a bum. He was a bum then, he's a bum now."

"I don't think DeSean Jackson is worth missing."

Fans say newcomers Darren Sproles and rookie wideout Jordan Matthews are more than enough to replace Jackson's production.
