13-Year-Old Boy Charged With Rape In Delaware
HARRINGTON, Del. (CBS) – A 13-year-old boy has been arrested for rape in Delaware.
Police say the suspect, who is not being named because he is a juvenile, is from Harrington.
On Aug. 23rd, the Division of Family services reportedly contacted Harrington police about a sexual assault complain that happened at a residence on Delaware Avenue in Harrington.
Detectives interviewed the eight-year-old victim and determine that on one occasion, that child was sexually assaulted by the suspect.
The teen has been charged with one count of Rape Second Degree. He is currently held at Stevenson House Juvenile Detention Facility in default of $5,000 secured bail.
