4 Suspects Caught On Camera Brawling With Security Guard At Fairhill Liquor Store

By Chelsea Karnash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for four suspects wanted for fighting with a security guard at a Fairhill liquor store, and they say it was all caught on camera.

The incident began on Aug. 2 at 7:30 p.m. The guard, a 33-year-old male, was working at the Wine & Spirit Shoppe at 2717 N. American Street when two women came into the store.

Those two females then got into a dispute with the clerk and were escorted out of the store by the guard.

At that point, police say one of the women made a call on her cell phone, and a few minutes later, two Hispanic males arrived at the store.

One of those men punched the guard, who was standing at the front entrance, while the other man walked into the store, grabbed a bottle and started hitting the guard with it.

As the victim was on the ground struggling with one of the male suspects, the other three suspects can be seen on surveillance video punching and kicking him.

Eventually, the guard was able to escape and entered the store. He locked the door and the suspects fled.

The security guard was taken to Episcopal Hospital, where he was treated for a cut to his eye and cuts to his lip and elbow.

The suspects are described by police as follows:

Suspect #1: White female, 30 years-of-age, 5'6", medium build, light complected, brown hair with blonde highlights, wearing a grey t-shirt, and blue jean shorts.
