1 Hurt After Crash Involving SEPTA Trolley

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One person was taken to the hospital following a crash involving a Route 36 SEPTA Trolley early Saturday morning in Southwest Philadelphia.

This happened around 3:30 a.m. at South 54th street and Lindbergh Boulevard.

SEPTA officials say two cars were involved in an accident, then somehow collided with the trolley.

A 23-year-old man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His condition is unknown at this time. Nobody on board the trolley was reported injured.

The accident is under investigation.
