PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Philadelphia Union were victorious against the Harrisburg City Islanders 3-2 on Thursday night. The City Islanders are a development affiliate team. The game serves to provide teams with an opportunity to give players a chance to separate themselves on the depth chart.

The Union won on the strength of three goals. Fred, Leo Fernandes and Sebastien Le Toux all scored goals in the Union win. Interim Manager Jim Curtin is now 9-2-4 in all competitions with the team.

The Union’s next match is set for September 3rd when the Union take on the Toronto FC.
