SEPTA Reports Residual Delays After Person Falls Onto Train Tracks In Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – SEPTA is reporting some residual delays on all east- and westbound trains on the Market-Frankford line after a person fell onto the tracks on Thursday evening.

The victim, a 36-year-old male, reportedly fell onto the tracks at Somerset Street and Kensington Avenue and was taken to the hospital. There is no word on his condition t, but he was ableo get himself off the tracks.

Shuttle buses were operating in place of trains between the Erie and Berks stations, but SEPTA says it has now resumed service.

Passengers can expect some delays in the area.
