Car Crashes Through Building In West Cape May

WEST CAPE MAY, N.J. (CBS) – Police say a car crashed through a building Saturday morning in West Cape May, New Jersey.

This happened around 10 a.m. on the 600 block of Park Boulevard.

According to police, the driver of the car, identified as 59-year-old Sylvia Byrd-Leitner, crashed into the front of the Professional Property Services office. The office was scheduled to open next week and was unoccupied at the time of the crash.

No injuries were reported to either Byrd-Leitner or any pedestrians in the area at the time of thew accident.

Authorities are investigating, but say they don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
