Dr. Diedra McCafferty spoke about Skin Cancer and ways to try to prevent it starting at a young age.

We were informed that sun exposure is cumulative over time, so what you do to your skin while you are young can most likely affect you when you are older in age. Dr. McCafferty also told us that there are three types of skin cancer. To help prevent this, use a broad spectrum sunscreen with at least a SPF of 30 and try to re-apply every two hours.

If you believe you or a family member may be affected by skin cancer, please visit:  http://www.crozerkeystone.org/ for more information and how you can reach Dr. McCafferty.
