As More Storms Roll In, Many In The Area Still Cleaning Up From Last Week

YEADON, Pa. (CBS) – As the area prepares for more storms, some in the region are still cleaning up from last week.

Wires are still hanging low from a utility pole in Yeadon, Delaware County from the last storm.

Last Tuesday, wind and rain knocked down trees and power lines.

According to PECO, about a quarter million of its customers were in the dark then, forcing residents to spend the next week cleaning up and crews fixing poles and lines.

Delaware County was one of the hardest hit in our area. This time, many are just waiting and hoping for the best.

PECO officials say they are monitoring the situation closely, with crews on standby. They are also asking residents to report any outages or downed lines as quickly as possible.
