81-Year-Old Philadelphia Man Among 8 Arrested In Pa. On Child Porn Charges
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) – An 81-year-old from Philadelphia is among eight suspected child predators arrested over the past week in Pennsylvania.
The Attorney General says the eight men were arrested on unrelated charges as part of ongoing efforts to target those who participate in the distribution of child pornography.
The men are from throughout the state, including Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Scranton.
Those arrested are:
-Carlos Bendeck, 44, 168 South Bromley Ave., Apt. 1, Scranton, Lackawanna County;
-Maurice Brown, 53, 2401 Highland Ave., Harrisburg, Dauphin County;
-Raymond Ellis, 81, 9921 Bustleton Ave., Apt. M4, Philadelphia;
-Richard Moyer Jr., 53, 723 Smokestown Road, Denver, Lancaster County;
-John O'Harra, 42, 24 Wilgus Road, Apt. 1, Hillsdale, Indiana County;
-Robert Kutzler, 61, 307 Ginger Lane, East Stroudsburg, Monroe County;
-Christian Imperial, 19, 113 Oneida Drive, Warren, Warren County; and
-Darby Conover, 45, 3116 West 23rd St., Erie.
Police say the 81-year-old man, Raymond Ellis, is from Philadelphia and is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
