Police Make Arrest In Spring Garden Sexual Assault

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police have made an arrest in connection with the case of an alleged sexual assault in Philadelphia’s Spring Garden neighborhood.

Philadelphia Police say shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday, they received a report of a sexual assault at 16th and Callowhill.

Police say they have a suspect in custody and are questioning him.

Detectives with the Special Victims Unit are interviewing witnesses.

Police searched the area for evidence and are also checking nearby security video.
