Health: Trapped In A Body That Doesn't Work

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Imagine being trapped in a body that doesn't work. One local man is fighting that battle.
For the 34-year-old, just standing is an ordeal. He has to be cared for like a baby, but his mind is fine.
From happy days at the shore to being incapacitated, how could it happen? A missed medical diagnosis is to blame.
"Doctor after doctor would say, 'All his tests are fine.' It's very frustrating. Obviously, it's very disheartening. We've had our days of tears, ya know, but we're very positive," says the man's father.
Doctors say what led to the man's condition is a growing problem, especially in our area this time of year.
