PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – “Best Picture” and five-time Academy Award-winning movie “Gladiator” can be seen on a large screen at the Mann Center on July 18th at 8 p.m.

Mann Center President and CEO Catherine Cahill says the event features The Philadelphia Singers chorus and beautiful music.

“The orchestra and chorus will be on stage playing live, and the film, as you know, it’s playing in its entirety – the spoken word and all of that great scoring will happen as if you are in the movie theater, but live with the Philadelphia Orchestra,” Cahill explains.

And you can sit out under the stars.

“Bring your picnic basket and your picnic blanket and spread out on our glorious lawn,” Cahill says.

“Gladiator” is an R-rated movie and may not be suitable for everyone. For more info, visit: www.manncenter.org.
