PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Mann Center presents Il Volo with the Philadelphia Orchestra on June 26th.
“They are a very young, recent set of Italian artists that just took the international stage by storm,” says President and CEO of the Mann Center Catherine Cahill.
They’re so sensational that since coming on the scene in 2009, they have become one of PBS’s hottest artists, and Barbara Streisand chose them as the special guest for several shows of her last North American tour.
“You will hear great popular Italian love songs, operatic excerpts, great orchestral arrangements,” adds Cahill, who says June 26th is also date night at the Mann.
“We will have free roses and we will also have a wine tasting,” she says.
