West Chester Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges After Reportedly Admitting To Filming Stepdaughters

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – A West Chester man has been arrested on child porn charges after police say he admitted to covertly filming his non-biological children.

On June 10th, the West Goshen Police Department interviewed the mother of two teenage girls, who said she was currently married but had teenage kids from a previous marriage.

She also said that she'd noticed her current husband had become increasingly more affectionate with her teenage and pre-teen daughters and was spending an excessive amount of time in the basement and attic alone.

The mother had investigated further and found her husband's iPad stored in a remote area of the attic. She also located several unexplainable holes in the ceilings above the bathroom and bedrooms of the home.

The teens' mother turned the iPad over to police, who got a warrant to search the devise and found child pornography, sexually explicit images and videos of the man's step-children from the attic of the house.

On June 17th, police arrested Michael Joshua Nemeth, 44, and he admitted to videotaping the teens and to possessing the images on his iPad.

Nemeth is now facing charges of Child Pornography (Filming), Child Pornography (Possession), Criminal use of a communication facility, Intercept communications and Invasion of privacy.
