Showers and thunderstorms will approach from the west overnight and arrive by dawn on Thursday and the streak of 90s will end tomorrow as a cold front brings cooler temperatures. The strongest thunderstorms are expected Thursday afternoon and storms may contain gusty winds, downpours and possible hail. Between .5 - 1" of rain is forecasted before the cold front sinks south Thursday night. High pressure will move in on Friday and provide a much nicer day for us, so the last day of Spring will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s.

The threat for showers returns on Saturday and it will be cooler again with a high around 80. Summer begins Saturday morning at 6:51am. The sun will rise at 5:32am and set at 8:33pm for a total of 15 hours worth of daylight. Sunday will be a nice day with highs in the lower 80s. Temperatures this weekend at the beaches and the Poconos will be in the 70s.
