Heat Forces Early Dismissal For Philadelphia School District Students
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Due to the excessive heat, the Philadelphia School District cut classes short Wednesday.
All School District of Philadelphia Schools closed at 12:15 p.m.
In a statement posted on its website, the School District said schools with graduation ceremonies scheduled for Wednesday have the option to remain open for the ceremonies. Parents are asked to contact schools directly to confirm graduation schedules.
All after-school activities are cancelled for today as well.
