Dump Truck Causes Port Richmond Street To Cave In

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A dump truck caused a portion of the roadway in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia to cave in on Tuesday.

The incident happened at Livingston and Elkhart Streets around noon.

A large dump truck was reportedly on the street when it caved in, causing a hole eight feet deep to form.

Traffic was shut down by police for several hours as a tow truck was brought in to remove the dump truck.

The hole is reportedly over gas lines, but officials say they were not damaged.
