Tour Wilmington City Gardens This Weekend

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Wilmington City Gardens Contest Tour is this Saturday, June 21, from 10 am to 3 pm. It's a chance for anyone who enjoys growing things, or just looking at pretty places, to spend a day ogling all kinds of lovely gardens at proud homes and businesses around the city of Wilmington.

For over 30 years, the City Gardens contest has helped revitalize and beautify Wilmington neighborhoods. Two years ago, it became a garden tour and last year, more than 80 homeowners and businesses showed off their spiffy green spaces. Best of all, this event is free.

You can get a printed map to help you find your way to all the gardens at The Delaware Center for Horticulture or at many local stores.
