Police: Woman Kidnapped, Assaulted In South Jersey

VINELAND, N.J. (CBS) – Police are investigating after a 21-year-old woman was kidnapped from Millville and then assaulted in Vineland.

Authorities say on May 20, the victim was pulled into a vehicle from the area of 115 Pine Street in Millville by a Hispanic male while a black male drove the car.

The woman says that they took her to the back of a building, located on 2000 Hance Bridge Road in Vineland, where she was assaulted and then left alone.

The female says the vehicle used was a white, older model four-door Honda.

An investigation by Vineland Police is ongoing and they are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 856-691-0345 or Vineland Police Detective Angel Mercano 691-4111 x4313.

Crime Stoppers is also offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those accused in this incident.
