Gargano: Sixers 'Will Do Whatever They Need To Do To Land Andrew Wiggins'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Sixers really want Andrew Wiggins and according to a source of 94WIP's Anthony Gargano, they'll do whatever it takes to get him.
"The Sixers are in love with [Andrew] Wiggins and they will do whatever they need to do to land Andrew Wiggins," Gargano said on his WIP Afternoon Show with Rob Ellis on Wednesday. "From what I hear, it's 90-percent they get Wiggins. They'll do whatever it takes."
The Sixers, of course, possess the third overall pick in the draft. While Wiggins projects to be a top-three draft pick in the NBA draft on June 26th, along with Jabari Parker and Joel Embiid, the order is unknown.
The Sixers also own the 10th overall pick and they are willing to move up from that slot, according to Gargano's source.
"I hear that they want to move up from [number] 10 as well," Gargano said. "So, they want to assure themselves of Wiggins and also, move up from 10."
