PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in West Philadelphia overnight.

Police say officers responded to a call of a shooting around 2:30 a.m. Saturday along the 5900 block of Addison Street in the city’s Cobbs Creek section and found a 24-year-old man lying on the front steps of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and torso.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have no suspect and no arrests have been made.
