Billboard Twitter real-time charts are now live
Billboard and Twitter have officially launched the Billboard Twitter Real-Time Charts, an up-to-the-minute ranking of the most shared songs in the U.S.
Song shares will be tracked in various ways like the use of links to music platforms such as Spotify and iTunes, specific hashtags (#nowplaying or #np ) and terms associated with music (music,” “song,” “track,” “listen”) in tweets.
In the wake of the Santa Barbra shooting rampage, Twitter users have begun sharing their experiences of fear, harassment and sexual assault under the hashtag #YesAllWomen.
According to Hashtags.org, #YesAllWomen has been attached to over 1.2 million tweets.
