New Jersey Police Identify Man Killed In Bulldozer Accident
LAKEWOOD, N.J. (CBS) -- Police in Ocean County have identified a man who died after being pinned beneath a bulldozer.
According to Lakewood Police, the accident happened at about 9:47 a.m. when Angel L. Martinez, 67, who is employed by NJ Advanced Construction LLC of Lakewood, was attempting to drive the bulldozer onto a trailer when it flipped off the ramp. Martinez was trapped under the right side of the bulldozer.
Emergency personnel worked to rescue Martinez and performed first aid, but he succumbed to his injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene via telemetry at 10:01 a.m.
Lakewood Police are investigating.
