Driver Charged With DUI In Death Of Pedestrian On Girard Avenue

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A driver has been charged with DUI among charges in the death of a pedestrian in North Philadelphia.
The deadly incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of W. Girard Avenue.
According to investigators, 54-year-old Stuart Moore was in the running lane helping his co-worker back up his truck when he was struck by a car driven by Ronald Manson.
Moore, of the 1300 block of N. 10th Street, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say Manson remained at the scene.
The 64-year-old Manson was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and has been charged with Involuntary Manslaughter, Homicide by Vehicle, Homicide by Vehicle While DUI and related offenses.
