Police ID Victim In Fatal Crash On I-295 In South Jersey

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities confirm one person was killed in a single-car crash along Interstate 295 in South Jersey early Monday morning.
The accident happened just before 6 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-295 approaching Rt. 541 in Florence Township.
Police have identified the victim as Eric Weinisch from Voorhees, New Jersey.
Authorities say that Weinisch lost control of his vehicle and ran off the road striking multiple trees and eventually overturning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
