1 Dead, 3 Injured After Small Plane Crashes In Hamilton Township

HAMILTON Twp., .N.J, (CBS) – One person is dead and three people are injured after a small plane crashed in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday at the 4800 block of Paddock Street, northwest of the Atlantic City International Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration says a single-engine Navion G aircraft was on approach to Runway 13 when the pilot reported engine problems.

Hamilton Township Police say four people were on board the aircraft.

The New Jersey State Medical Examiner confirm one fatality at the crash site.

The other plane occupants were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for their injuries.  There is no word on their conditions.

The incident is under investigation.
