PSPCA Removes 5 ‘Unhealthy’ Dogs From Berks County Kennel

MOHRSVILLE, Pa. (CBS) – The Pennsylvania SPCA has announced it has removed five “unhealthy” dogs from a Berks County kennel.

On Friday, the PSPCA said it secured a search warrant to search a commercial kennel in Mohrsville, and observed 60 dogs.

PSPCA vets examined the animals and determined that five dogs required medical treatment. Those dogs were surrendered and are now in the care of the PSPCA.

The investigation is reportedly ongoing. So far, no charges have been filed.
