Police Investigate Murder-Suicide In Germantown
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a murder-suicide in Germantown.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the 6200 block of Clearview Street.
According to investigators, a 53-year-old man shot a 59-year-old woman once in the head and multiple times in the torso.
Investigators say the man then turned the gun on himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
A weapon was recovered at the scene.
Police are investigating.
