Police Charge Driver After Fatal Accident In Voorhees

VOORHEES, N.J. (CBS) – Police have charged a driver after a fatal accident in Voorhees last month. (See Previous Story)

A mother was killed and her daughter was seriously injured after they were struck while crossing Evesham Road at Kresson Road on April 27.

Samuel Distefano, 47, has been charged with reckless driving, use of wireless telephone/electronic communication device in a moving vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt.

Distefano will be in court on May 7 in Camden.

An investigation is still ongoing.
