PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — In the wake of a passing cold front skies will be mainly clear and temperature will fall into the low 50s by morning.

Friday will be a beauty, with plenty of sunshine and a high around 70 degrees.

WATCH: Kathy’s Latest Weather Forecast

There will be a comfortable, westerly breeze as well.  With some instability in the atmosphere, a few late-day or evening spotty showers are possible, Friday.

Saturday will be a similar day with partly sunny skies, a high of 71 degrees and a chance of a late day shower or sprinkle.

On Sunday, there will be a better chance of afternoon showers as a front pushes through the area.  However, most of the day will be sunny and pleasant with a high of 69.

It will be cooler Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 60’s. Then temperatures climb back into the 70s by midweek!

I think it is finally safe to put away our winter coats!
