Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck By A Car In East Falls

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in East Falls late Thursday.

The woman, who is described as an Asian female in her 20s, was reportedly crossing the street on the 5000 block of Wissahickon Avenue around 11:16 p.m. when she was struck by a 2001 Chevy traveling southbound.

The victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where she is listed in extremely critical condition.

Police say the driver did stop at the scene, and no arrests have been made.
