Firefighters Battle Brush Fire In Gloucester County

FRANKLIN Twp., N.J., (CBS) — A brush fire is burning in Franklin Township, Gloucester County.

Firefighters responded around 6 p.m. Thursday to the 900 block of Salem Avenue.

Officials say about 15 acres have burned so far.

Fire crews are setting backfires to clear about 500 acres.

No structure damage or injuries have been reported.
