Woman Accused Of Selling Heroin From Hospital Intensive Care Unit

GREENSBURG, Pa. (CBS) -- A female patient is accused of selling heroin from her bed at a hospital in Pennsylvania.

Security at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg became suspicious when a large number of people were coming in and out of Lori Sullenberger's room.

"What they noticed last week was an exuberant amount of foot traffic happening to the patient's room; not people coming to stay two hours, but coming to stay for two minutes and they thought that was really odd," hospital spokeswoman Jennifer Miele said.

A police search turned up $3,800 in heroin, two syringes and $1,400 in cash.

The 38-year-old Sullenberger is facing felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
