TRENTON, NJ (CBS) – New Jersey’s outspoken governor Chris Christie is lashing out against “Late Show” host David Letterman.
The Governor, who recently had weight loss surgery, threw a barb on Twitter Wednesday after Letterman reportedly made fun of him for being named “Father of the Year” by the National Father’s Day Council.

Christie was reportedly responding to comments from the comedian’s Tuesday show that included jokes about the word “fat” being a part of “father.”
The portly politician also included the hashtag #ColbertNation, seemingly proffering support to Stephen Colbert, who will be taking over Letterman’s job next year.
