Sunshine And Warmth Before Rain Arrives Tuesday
By Carol Erickson
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Monday might not be your favorite day of the week, but that could change if every Monday featured weather like this.
Sunshine returns, the winds do not, and the temperatures climb higher than Easter Sunday. High pressure sends us that departing gift as it heads out of time to do its work elsewhere.
Meanwhile, it's somewhat more temperamental 2nd cousin – or at least a weather relative of some kind – will arrive on Tuesday. Ready or not, we get some showers Tuesday afternoon and evening as the cold front comes through the area, with a chance of a thunder drum roll. But it gets mild here tomorrow, with temperatures climbing to 72 degrees.
After the front, temperatures cool to 62 and the winds pick up. That chilly day on Wednesday gets some milder by Thursday – mid 60s - and then back to the 70's and a few showers on Friday. Can you say full circle?
