PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Of all the advisories and warnings and watches and alerts we’ve had to deal with this crummy year of weather, this is my favorite one – a pastel advisory.
Wear anything that looks bright and spring-like and has no winter features.
The weather finally cooperates for a great couple of days of normal to above normal temperatures. Highs today reach the mid to upper 60’s with a mixture of sun and clouds. The only weather worry is an enhanced fire danger, so if you are barbecuing the usual assortment of vegetables and tofu you put on the grill, keep a close watch. Humidity lowers today and the winds might get a bit gusty at times.
Otherwise, Easter Sunday looks terrific. Any sunrise service should feature enough sun that the Easter yellows and pinks and greens and powder blues you are wearing will look just smashing, darling! Just watch out for chocolate stains!
