VP Joins Instagram
Vice President Joe Biden has joined Instagram and posted his very first “selfie” with none other than President Obama.
The photo was taken in the back of a car and reads “Found a friend to join my first selfie on Instagram. Thanks for following and stay tuned. –VP”
Pinterest Teases Press Event
Pinterest has announced a new product launch event on April 24th in San Francisco.
The conference is titled, “Choose Your Own Adventure.” Based on that theme, Pinterest may be ready to launch the Explore Interests feature, a personalized home page that could provide a relevancy-filtered feed, much like Facebook does.
Twitter’s New Ad Feature
Twitter is hoping to earn more ad dollars from mobile app publishers and developers.
Advertisers will be able to promote their mobile apps both on Twitter and through the thousands of apps that use MoPub to serve their ads.
MoPub is the mobile ad exchange company Twitter purchased last October that serves 130 billion ads to over 1 billion devices each month.
