UPDATE: 85-Year-Old Man Dead in Bucks County Crash

LEVITTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- An 85-year-old man is dead after a car accident in Bucks County early Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 8:50 a.m. at Edgely Road and Goldenridge Drive in Levittown.

Prior to the crash, Bristol Township Police say a cement mixer truck was traveling southbound on Edgely Road. A Buick sedan was traveling east on Goldenridge Drive.

Police say the two vehicles collided at the intersection on Edgely Road.

The driver of the Buick sedan, an 85-year-old man of Levittown, was taken to St. Mary Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The 52-year-old driver of the cement truck was evaluated by medical personnel then later released.  Police say he is cooperating with the investigation.

Edgely Road between Gardenia Road and Red Cedar Dive was closed until 12:30 p.m.

An investigation is ongoing.
