PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Today was bright but cold across the region, with temperatures averaging more than 10 degrees below normal and a gusty breeze making it feel even worse! But the good news is that we are entering into a period of quiet weather, with moderating temperatures through the weekend.
Another Freeze Warning tonight, though, for all areas surrounding Philadelphia. The city won’t drop to the freezing mark tonight but grassy and outlying areas will, so make sure to protect those plants if you got a jump start on your gardening this year!
Tomorrow is a chilly but bright day, less wind than today and roughly five degrees warmer, the high 55.
Friday will feature more cloud cover and an east wind, with temperatures holding in the mid 50’s.
But another pleasant weekend is on the way, while we won’t beat the beauty of last weekend, temperatures will be in the low to mid 60’s both days with sunshine, making for a pleasant Easter holiday.
