PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A man is in critical condition after being shot in the rear-end during a robbery in Philadelphia Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened at about 8:45 a.m. in the 200 block of W. Johnson Street in the city’s West Mount Airy section.

According to investigators, a 34-year-old male was shot once in the buttocks during a robbery by two suspects.

The unidentified victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

Investigators say the victim was robbed of $800 cash, a gold Rolex watch and a Versace belt.

The suspects are described as two black males who were both wearing hoodies and dark pants. They fled the scene in what is believed to be a silver Chevrolet Impala.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
