Eleanor's Story

"I just felt so comfortable."

Having injured her knee at age 21, Eleanor suffered from knee pain all of her adult life. "Over the years, I had increasing pain and more and more difficulty walking," she recalls. "It really compromised my life." As a nurse who understands the recovery process, she joked with her rheumatologist that when she found a minimally invasive surgeon, she'd be ready. Now, not only is Eleanor back on her feet, but she's back on a bike—something she hadn't been able to do for 35 years.
