Off-Duty Police Officer Stabbed In Southwest Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An off-duty police officer was reportedly stabbed once in the right arm during a home invasion in Kingsessing.
The incident occurred on the 1000 block of S. 54th Street.
The victim was able to drive herself to the hospital.
The suspect is described as a 30-year-old man. He reportedly broke in through the rear dining room before assaulting the officer.
The suspect then fled the scene, but is now in police custody.
