NCAA Tournament Drives 46 Million Interactions on Facebook

The social activity surrounding the 2014 NCAA Tournament drove 46 million interactions on Facebook.

More than 15 million people on Facebook in the U.S. had 46 million combined posts, comments and "likes" between March 16th and April 7th.

Facebook Tweaks Privacy Settings Again

Facebook is testing new privacy settings to alert users about who they are sharing with on the platform.

The company will be updating mobile and Web designs with more prominent audience controls, a new default privacy setting for cover photos and a message clarifying who can see an image you post when your friends re-share it.

Facebook's India User Base Crosses 100M

Facebook has hit another milestone by registering 100 million active users in India, making it the country with the largest Facebook user base outside of the US.

India is now the only country where Facebook could one day have 1 billion users, thanks to a growing base of internet users and increasing mobile phone subscribers.
