WEATHER BLOG: Pleasant Weekend Continues

By Justin Drabick

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - We have had a nice start to the weekend with high temperatures just a few degrees below the average high of 60.

It did feel cooler at times as gusty winds continued as Friday night's storm continues to track through southern Canada.

As the winds relax Saturday night, temperatures will drop into the mid 30s with the clear skies early Sunday morning.  High pressure situated over the mid-Atlantic on Sunday will keep skies sunny with much lighter winds, making for very comfortable conditions outside.  High temperatures will even be a few degrees warmer than Saturday, near 60 degrees.

The pleasant weather comes to an end on Monday as our next storm will track into the Midwest.  Expect a dry morning with increasing clouds with rain developing during the afternoon.

As of now, the Phillies game could begin dry before the rain beings to move in from the southwest.  Expect the first pitch temperatures to be in the mid 50s with increasing rain chances through the game.  The heaviest rain will occur later Monday night before ending early on Tuesday morning.
