Main Line Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Boy At Least 20 Times From 1990-95
DEVON, Pa. (CBS) – A 46-year-old man from the Main Line has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a boy in the '90s.
Lawrence Harold Carroll, of Devon, was arrested on April 2nd and charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and related offenses after the victim reported being abused multiple times between December 1990 and 1995.
According to the Chester County DA, the victim was between the ages of 6 and 11 at the time of the more than twenty assaults, which occurred at the defendant's home, near the railroad tracks and near a creek bed by the defendant's home.
The victim reported the abuse on January 15, 2014.
Carroll is being held on $75,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, April 25th.
