WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police say a man is in custody for allegedly robbing three banks this year.

Detectives arrested 49-year-old Raymond Sawyer Friday evening.

Authorities say Sawyer committed the January 15 robbery at a PNC Bank in Greenville, the March 14 robbery of the PNC Bank in Claymont and the March 20 robbery of Artisans Bank in Wilmington.

In each of the robberies, Sawyer presented a demand note to the worker, took cash and fled the scene.

Police have charged Sawyer with three counts of robbery and committed on $18,000 bail.
