Bensalem Police Release ID of Sunday Morning Murder Victim

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) -- Police have identified the young Bensalem (Bucks County) man who was stabbed to death early Sunday as 19-year-old Jacob Simmers.

Another 19-year-old is charged with his murder (see related story).

At around 2:30am Sunday morning, Bensalem Township police responded to the report of a stabbing in the 1100 block of Kasmir Avenue.  Simmers was already dead when officers arrived.

The suspect, Joseph Romano, was still in the house, and was taken into custody.  He is charged with homicide and related offenses.

Police aren't saying what led to the killing.
