PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A fatal stabbing in Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday morning is believed to be the end result of an argument between a man and woman.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. inside a home along the 6100 block of Hasbrook Avenue in the city’s Lawncrest neighborhood.
Police say a woman called 9-1-1 to report a stabbing and then apparently fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
Responding officers found an unidentified 22-year-old man suffering multiple stab wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead at scene.
Authorities are searching for the woman, who is believed to be the victim’s girlfriend.
No arrests have been made.
