Police: Suspect Robs, Chokes Victim At Philadelphia Holiday Inn

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect who attacked and robbed a female in a room at the Holiday Inn on Packer Avenue.

The incident occurred on March 24 around 8 p.m.

The 20-year-old victim was waiting for a visitor when she heard a knock at the door. The suspect forced his way in  the room and began attacking her. He then began choking the victim until she passed out.


When she later regained consciousness she noticed several items were missing.

The victim suffered minor facial injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’6” tall, 25-30-years-old, short hair, wearing a white knit hat with a design and all dark colored clothing.

Police ask anyone with information to contact Southwest Detectives at 215-686-3013.
